LOL when they remove something like that from a patient, they just stick it on whatever randomass piece of ... junk mail? Instructions for something?
"Nurse, shit.... Um dig something out of the trash to put this spooky ass random thing we've never seen before ever on, stat."
Edit: NOTE: Most replies to this are prior to this edit. Look up "plastic bronchitis" image search - perhaps not too close to eating. This is mentioned in a couple comments on the Gab post. Looks very similar....
Edit 2: Yes I can tell it's some kind of package or insert as several have pointed out. The original point was I find it unbelievable they'd use this but apparently not. And SEE THE ABOVE FREAKIN EDIT FFS, I admit this looks legit after all.
actually yes, it was probably handy for the OR nurse/tech to put it on for the pic. Retired surgeon here. Looks like a package insert for medical equipment/supply.
Medical procedures are not nearly as perfect as you imagine. Specimen containers aren’t big enough to spread this out on like this - so yeah, I’d for sure take a picture on whatever is big enough to find to show the whole thing. Then put in the the specimen container to send to pathology.

Lol looks like EKG sticky probe package 😆
Plus they do it because it shows the size/scale
I don't know about the emphasis LOL - usually they have stuff like this next to a quarter or - hang on now - even a ruler/scale

As a Retired surgeon, any explanation speculation as to what this is or why it may have formed?
See my edit...it looks similar...vax proteins probably?
No worries fren, it's all about the journey to the truth.
I'm gonna go with "anyone on here could claim this" - this seems ridiculous.
A space surgeon. Thank God I ran into you.
It's kind of embarrassing... but I have a pretty serious trouble with my Tribbles. Can you take a look?
Username checks out though. Lol
usually they just toss whatever is removed into a little basin, someone comes along and sends it to pathology.

It's a cardiac lead patch package.
