I'm overall neutral on "there is fantastic tech they're hiding from us!", but I have a couple of points of doubt:

Anti-gravity. Something that negates, reverses, or defies gravity? If you turned off your gravity, you would be splattered into a wall at the speed of the Earth's rotation. I can buy floating cars, but not with "anti-gravity" as the mechanism. Perhaps-with some imagination-as a mean of leaving Earth, then shutting it off after being pushed close enough to a destination for it to pull you at an appreciable speed, but not so fast that it repels you from that distance before you shut the anti-gravity off. Is that even a thing?

2: Free energy. There is no such thing. Ways of finding, storing, or otherwise harnessing hidden or unrealized energy? Sure. Pulling energy from some system outside our own? By all means. Mechanical work without an input? Never.

Anti-gravity wouldn't make you splatter into the wall, you are negating the downward force, not your horizontal velocity.
