I only got the flu shot once in my life, before I knew much about them. Note that, at least in the past, they were called "flu shots", not "flu vaccinations", and "tetanus shots" not tetanus vaccinations. Tetanus, being a bacteria, could likely never have a real vaccine. I think the truth on true vaccines lies somewhere between the "all vaccines are poison" and "vaccines are the greatest medical breakthrough in history" :)
