I think he's trolling the left y'all. If Elon claims he's a socialist then all the reee soycialists may just stop being socialists because they can't stand the thought of having something in common with him.
This was also 4 years ago, if he had to infiltrate to start doing some damage, this is the way.
Or he was just trying to lure in the lefties to buy his teslas
I have a hard time believing that with some of his other actions which are decidedly not socialist. But that's just my opinion.

When people tell you who they are, we should believe them. So many people have told us for generations, in plain words, exactly their plans for us and we just laughed and laughed or ignored them because we were thinking they were joking. They were not. It is why we are where we are right this very moment.
Except that people lie. A lot. I've come to the conclusion that people are rarely honest about who they are. They may let some truths slip here and there but it's not done intentionally.
