Green energy is not Green. It is one of the dirtiest energies available, why?, Because it takes more energy to produce the products than they well ever generate.
A solar panel takes more energy to produce than will every be returned. It is one of the biggest scams ever. The only reason the industry exists is because the Gov steals money from citizens and gives it to 'Green Energy' producers, and then forces electric utilities to purchase the overpriced 'Green Energy' and sell it to its customers at rates that are much higher than energy produced from burning hydrocarbon fuel. Global Warming is a hoax and it is being pushed as the biggest threat to humanity there is, so people will be scared into allow the Gov more control, more regulations, more transfer of wealth.
Same goes for electric cars. How do you think this electricity is produced? Mostly from coal and oil.
And, what about the batteries? You have to dig up 500,000 lbs of dirt to make just one battery. What are you digging up the dirt with? A gasoline-powered machine.
The whole thing is a giant ponzi scheme. All they are doing is adding a layer of "green magic" between fossil fuels and the consumer in order to hide what's really going on.
My bad, fren. The memory isn't what it once was. It's not 50,000 lbs...it's 500,000 lbs!
"Replacing hydrocarbons with green machines under current plans—never mind aspirations for far greater expansion—will vastly increase the mining of various critical minerals around the world. For example, a single electric car battery weighing 1,000 pounds requires extracting and processing some 500,000 pounds of materials. Averaged over a battery’s life, each mile of driving an electric car “consumes” five pounds of earth. Using an internal combustion engine consumes about 0.2 pounds of liquids per mile."
Also read somewhere I’ll have to try to remember that if we strip mine all the reserves for lithium it would only amount to maybe 20years worth vs hundreds of reserves left for oil gas and coil.
So yeah really not green at all.
Interesting article. There seems to be two types of people involved in the green energy industry. There are those idealogues who just know it is a good idea and think we should using it and the other, more cynical, group who are going along with it and extracting as much money as they can along the way. Whether it works or not is not a problem for them.
Our CEO gave a talk about all these hydrogen and decarbonization projects the company is chasing but you could tell in his tone that he hopes the Dems lose bigly in 2022 and we can just go back to regular old oil projects. Nobody here plays more than lip service or even expects these projects to get past the estimate stage.
Hussein’s Hawaii beachfront mansion tells me green energy is horse shit.
Better yet, al gore's beach front montecito CA home.

Do you have source for the dirt topic to produce a battery?

Your all good. Just needed a source so I don't spread misinformation lol....

“One bellwether county” “big guy” din win Ohio. Linear curves don’t gap up. We the people can’t be fooled or ruled for much longer.
Finally, a good article that shows that "sustainability" projects are not sustainable.
