Sounds nuts I suppose. But maybe I'm not the only one to have this experience. We planted 15 samplings (45 to go for this year!) yesterday and it was really amazing how it shifts perspective.
We did it as a family. Some of us prayed and "talked" to the plants or the ground -- sounds funny I suppose, but it was really interesting to hear our different instincts led us to connect with nature and ultimately our Creator.
A little reminder for me I wanted to share with you that we are all part of something much larger than is usually discussed.
I understand. I always find it odd, a title with the word “pray”, or “prayer” in it, seems to always attract the non believers.
Speaking of perspective. I know a great preacher, locally, used to be an atheist. If you would like to talk with him, I’m sure I could find a way to make that happen.
I really didn't key into "pray" or "prayer" and seek to insert my opinion. I was intrigued but the idea of planting trees as a form of prayer.
If this was just Christians or the like making a prayer post I may not have clicked and definitely would not have commented.
Well see that’s the thing. You need to understand how your being used. The devil doesn’t have you by the hand, but he does have you by the neck. You see a opportunity to inject your perspective, because you feel it. Your being nudged. Look, your a nice guy, seemingly polite and open to others belief outside for Jesus. Your a representative. But for whom? Yourself? No. You may think that , but your not. Your representing the devil. Your the opposition to God’s Word. To show others that it’s ok not to believe this mumbo jumbo. Look at how good and decent, and intelligent you are, it’s ok. That my friend, is works of Satan. And I’m not gonna sit here and let a brother or sister waltz right into Hell without saying something. I care enough to call this out. His would want me to. But of course with love in my heart.
Don’t let Satan beat you. You have to learn how to fight. You have to wake up. There are many of us here to talk too. There’s always an outlet to Hope. I pray God places massive barriers in your life that require you to break down Satans grasp on you. That puts you in your knees. Like what happened to me. It’s worth it in the end. Much love friend. I hope and pray for you to see the light and truth of Jesus Christ. It’s truly the only way.
