Had to go to walmart to get my post-surgery meds so i was shopping a bit while they were getting ready
Crossed paths with a lady who was wearing a "STOP HUMAN TRAFFICKING" shirt
Had to stop and give her some props for it

That’s cool!
I had to go there recently. Sure had a lot of big bags of rice sitting around. It’s like they know something.
Thanks for reminding me, big bags of rice are something I still need to get for my food stash that I'm certainly not quietly building lol
Yep. I have too much actually, but it can be traded for stuff.
I live rural so I learned years ago to always have more than you need and look for good shelf life
But these days yeah even like..a box of canned vegetables will become currency when shit hits the fan fully
That’s how I look at things. Dollar Tree even has things that are valuable for trade and general emergency use. I don’t like encouraging people to “shop at China” but people aren’t always rich, either and you need survival items without breaking the bank. Here’s a good list. Always think in terms of what you need and what is valuable to trade.

Would pemmican be a better idea?
I know it’s better than rice but normies? Idk if they’d want to make and eat that. Plus the beef is pricey these days. Lol I can see trading pemmican. “Wtf is pemmican??”
It's apparently very nutrient dense, can be flavored, and lasts a long time.
