Crossed paths with a lady who was wearing a "STOP HUMAN TRAFFICKING" shirt
Had to stop and give her some props for it

Yep. I have too much actually, but it can be traded for stuff.
I live rural so I learned years ago to always have more than you need and look for good shelf life
But these days yeah even like..a box of canned vegetables will become currency when shit hits the fan fully
That’s how I look at things. Dollar Tree even has things that are valuable for trade and general emergency use. I don’t like encouraging people to “shop at China” but people aren’t always rich, either and you need survival items without breaking the bank. Here’s a good list. Always think in terms of what you need and what is valuable to trade.

I live 10 miles from even a gas station
In the small town with said gas station - DG is our only store
Dollar Tree was the one I was talking about. I’ve never shopped at DG. No idea what they have. I envy you being in the country!
In the rural areas of Northern Michigan the Dollar Generals are like mini Walmarts. They have everything and are three times the size of the stores here in SE Michigan.
Dollars, Generally.
Does it include 50 rolls of toilet paper?
