It sure is, and was first fitted with the reactive armour around 1985. It's fairly basic with just an IR sight for night time, no thermal. Fires the AT - 8 as well which adds to it a bit, can't recall if the gun is stabilised or not for firing on the move, something tells me not but could be wrong.
That tank sounds like a death trap in Ukraine.
Tbh it is very old tech, they tried to update it with the reactive armour, part hydrogas suspension but the rest is poor. Think Chieftain main battle tank versus say Challenger 2 now.
