Well that's called getting ahead of the story.
I am from the UK and originally found my US mates fascination of and love of guns a bit strange.
Them one of them explained to me quietly and rationally the historical reason for an armed and trained citizenry.
It made total sense.
Now fast forward a few years and Jones is on a tv show with Piers Morgan (another twat) and the subject of guns comes up does he take the opportunity to rationally and calmly explain the rational like my Buddy had done for me?
Does he fuck.
He rants like an escaped lunatic screaming about taking his guns from his cold dead hands.
Job done.
I didn't see the video but I hear what you're saying. I wonder sometimes if the ranting is not just his way of protecting himself. Most people I know on either side are not huge Alex Jones fans, for pretty much all the the reasons you describe about him ranting like a lunatic all the time. I think maybe the ranting speaks to a particular base who already think (rightly) that the government is out to get them and already could not be more mad about it, and everyone else tunes it out. So at the end of the day his overall effect in initiating actual change is not overwhelming, he has no potential to become a populist leader or initiate major change like Trump or anything like that, and so they let him go on selling his survival goods and collecting ad money (which are his main goals). I do think if he were an insider that they would have already killed him for betraying the trust.
I haven't seen much of Alex Jones, but there isn't much to draw me. He seems to specialize in running at "loud." Anyone who thinks that ranting is a method of communication has personal problems with self-image and ego. I suspect he is jealous of his notoriety and envious of Q, who gets so much more respect without ranting. The very existence of Q is a reproach to Alex's personality. Am I close?
