Testing… Daily Chat Thread
🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬
Testing something different here… wondering how we will engage with a daily/weekly/weekend chat thread.
What is this thread all about??
Just general discussion. Stuff on your mind. Talk about hobbies, health, news, help, current topics, theories and predictions, whatever the case may be.
This is the first of what May be many, let’s see how it goes
I separated from the military last year due to the forced vaccine, I am now happier, healthier, and more successful in the civilian world. We have our homestead and are ready for what lies ahead. Are there any other recently separated vets in the same position? I pray your experience has been as good as mine.
Military wife here, hubby did 14. He got out, got a great job, is home every night on our 12 acres in the sticks. What seemed like a great life turned into fantastic.
My wife and children are very happy, I'm thankful for the decision.
How many people told you that you'd never be as successful on the outside...and how many of them were WRONG :)
Very glad for you dudehat :)
Every senior enlisted person I've ever talked to on active duty. lol Getting out was the best decision I have ever made for myself and my family. Thank you DrFatsides!
Currently making more than I ever did for officer pay with wayyy better healthcare :)
I loved it but getting out of a one-sided relationship feels good :)
That's exactly what it is, a one-sided relationship lol
Hoping your search for a job was successful as well. Glad to hear that you and the family are fine.
How did they label your discharge??
Honorable
Well that’s good at least… I was hearing that they were pushing for dishonorable.
I was fortunate for sure. It has not been the case for many others in my position.
Thank you for your service in the military u/dudehat 🪖
And thank you for continuing to serve all of us through your involvement here!
Did you find it very difficult getting back into the swing of being back in "civilian" life?
