SCOTUS simply does not have that power. It is written in the Constitution as an amendment that a President can only serve two terms. The States are the only ones that have the power to do so.
Todays Apple news was crazy. There were articles about Russia hoax, an “investigation into FBI misconduct”, why dislodging conspiracy thoughts are hard, monkey pox vaccine may not be for everyone, and on and on. I always read the other side to try to get a gauge on what normies are reading. They’re definitely getting ahead of Durham but it seems like they’re trying to get ahead of all the truth being exposed daily.
Apple news is total crap but it helps me gauge what others are reading and why they think a certain way. I will say it seems to be setting a different tone, still biased but surprised they’ve even been reporting some of the things I’ve skimmed.
Now, consider this -- a situation in which a former president became vice president and then had an opportunity to finish out the president's term (upon death or resignation of the president).

An amendment to the Constitution would have to be done for this to happen. Supreme Court does not have the power to do this. FFS.
