Children are precious, and no one has a more vested interest in the educational success of a child than the child's parents (unless the parents are psychos). Sending your child to school is handing them over to strangers who collect a paycheck. There are some really great teachers out there, but there's also a lot of shitty people who became teachers.

"Vested interest" is the defining factor that separates exceptional considerations with mediocrity concerns.
No one will ever love your child, like you are capable of.
One can argue whether it's selfless love or selfish love, as you sacrifice for their wellbeing, while ensuring the survival of your own DNA.
It is the self interest often over looked and misunderstood by the communist collective crowd.
It is hard wired into our DNA at a cellular level that is driven by our will to survive as we protect and promote self and extension of self.
