"Ukraine in distress"?

For weeks they (FakeNewsMedia and politicians) were so excited about Ukraine winning over Russia.

The truths is very probably quite different.

Wartime would indicate a state of distress.

I'm not saying it's definitely the reason, but it could be based on what an upside down flag signifys.

"They" have no say over stuff like international signifiers.

This was most likely either a mistake or a proper use of flag signal.

Unless you can suggest an actual reason for doing this? Is it meant to signify something I've missed?
