Ultimately, it is people like this who will be very big red pills for a lot of people who can't make the connections just yet.
Friend of mine called me last night to say she had tested positive on a home test (we hung out Friday night). She got vax last July, but no boosts. She is worried. (She is very open to the idea of puppets pulling strings, but hasn't quite put everything together. She has some health issues and so I have been having conversations delicately.) There IS something going around - whether it's CV or not who knows. Both hubby and I were sick a week-10 days before. Neither of us took a test or went to the doctor - I am not going to add to their stats. But it is possible it was CV and if it was, fine; I got it naturally.
The one thing I have noticed is there is no push for 'a named variant', just generic CV and 'variants'. Last year at this time it was Delta. However, Paxlovoid is now available! My friend 's doctor gave her a prescription. I told her to be careful with it and to tough it out if she can. Thankfully, another friend said the same thing. I did point out that in the trials, they did not include vaxxed subjects and that caught her attention. I don't think she is going to take it.
If you haven't seen this sustack, he is ahead of a lot of things and has some good references as well.
I think that the continued push to have children get covid shots is waking a lot of people up! I saw a commercial on Newsmax (yes, I know they aren't the greatest "news" source, but at least they WILL talk about all the damage Biden is doing) put out by CDC? (or maybe NIH), where a half dozen doctors say how safe covid shots are for children, and that their own children have received them (but of course, they don't mention how ridiculous it is for anyone at this point, and especially children, to get covid shots)
I haven't seen that one. The one I've seen lately shows about 5 or 6 doctors, men and women, talking about their kids getting the covid shots. I would love to be able to speak with any one of them to see how much they are paid to do it, because it certainly doesn't make medical sense.

See that commercial on YouTube a lot, with the old white doctor talking about how happy he is to be able to vaccine his 5 year old grandchild now...
