I was at NORAD when the military was changing out the command center to look more like Wargames. They still had green screen monitors and nothing fancy. Back then they still had tours into the mountain and the tours could come into the command center (after screens were covered or made UNCLAS). People complained that Wargames looked better so eventually they upgraded things to "modernize". I know I was disappointed the first time I saw it myself.
I guess I can say I was in Space Force before Space Force was Space Force.
I worked with a fellow at a 911 center who also worked there. He helped man the Santa tracker phones in the late 80s/early 90s. You might have worked with him.
