You need a state issued ID right now to fly. The only difference between a regular state issued ID and a Real ID is you need to go into your state DMV and show three forms of ID such as a SS Card, utility bill, and birth certificate. If anything, it’s going to make it much more difficult for illegal aliens to get a real ID and when voter ID finally becomes the norm, it’s going to be much more difficult for illegal aliens and cheaters to vote. That’s my take on it.
