while having introduced evidence in another case does not mean one can automatically bring it up in a different trial, it does mean that the validity of the evidence has already been established. it also means that it is easier to back someone into a corner where either those things will be introduced, or something else unpleasant will happen.

in short, this isn't a fukking game of checkers. nor is it a game of chess. it's a long damn slog through multiple battlefields and cutting off supply lines and other such things are way more valuable than small victories.

so why don't you NOT simplify and talk down to people?

as for the rest... while i appreciate the amount you do, it sounds like it is time for you to sit back and take a rest. for your own sanity. for your ability to be able to help those around you. it sounds, quite seriously, like you are losing your ability to process what's going on.

if you won't take a break for yourself, take one so you won't be pissing off and demoralizing the others around you.
