Same here actually. You should see my Dreamcast and Saturn collections (agree I’d love to share but yeah…more peaceful times) Big Sega fan for a long time. SoA has been shit forever (that’s why the ss flopped-“it’s out there” campaign lol- here but thrived in Japan.) Another bad business decision.
I've played Sakura Taisen through twice: once on the Saturn and again on the Dreamcast. I played them with my laptop in my lap, with Lando's playthrough translation guide on the screen. I got most of the way through Sakura Taisen 2, but I really hated that secondary group of creepy queer characters who were sexual degenerates.
Agreed. The Saturn was bigger than the N64 in Japan. The first time I visited Japan was in '98, and I bought so many awesome games that were never released in the USA because Bernie Stolar thought that people only like sports games. If you have a Gab account, two groups you should check out are Sega and Retro Palace. I'm on both, and the latter gets more traffic.

I miss Saturn games when they were bargain bin prices, even the imports. I never thought I'd see Sakura Taisen translated either, but here we are!

I take it you're not a fan of Ghirahim either?
I'm not familiar with that.
