Dooming is the new coping mechanism for some. When you begin to get very uncomfortable, it's hard for some, as they've had an easy life this whole time.
I'll be the first to admit, i've had my moments of feeling very deflated, but I never go full on doomer. It only takes me about a day to clear my head and get right back into it. Shit's real rough at home, but i'm here to fight for what's to come after. I don't give up, and never will.
An early sign of dooming is its pretty cousin sarcasm. I’ve been guilty of such. After a few “witty” comments, I take a day off, and am usually good to go.
