These people are so fearful. I find that unbelievably sad. Their view of reality is so incredibly distorted and their reliance upon authority is catastrophic to their minds and they have no idea where to turn because their only faith is in authority. No critical thinking skills, no ability to think outside the box, no discernment; we need to hang all the commies that did and supported this travesty of mental degradationthat was hoisted upon our children. I don't think these people will ever recover from the truth.
The light within these people is darkness, and how great is that darkness. They’ve closed their eyes so that they cannot see, they’ve closed their ears so that they cannot hear. They’ve turned their hearts to stone. However they know something doesn’t seem right so perhaps their is a glimmer of hope.
It's quite a word salad. I looked for a conclusion but I must have missed it. Elamin Abdelmahmoud seems confused.
I honestly feel sorry for them, not the evil ones, just the dumb and misguided ones. I imagine the Hitler Youth had to go through some unbelievable deprograming of their own after WWII as well as every child who has been mislead by this evil plot against humanity. Pray🙏🙏🙏 Because I don't think they're up for the challenge at all.
Notable quotes
On the awakening
"The more immediate question for American democracy is: Why did more people vote for Donald Trump in 2020 than in 2016? Surely they didn’t miss the news cycle of his entire presidency. It’s impossible to have missed him systematically subverting the institutions that governments rely on. So could it be that they bought the story that the institutions were unworthy of redemption? Did his presidency confirm something about decay in general social trust?"
Manipulation of stimulus to promote socialism
"This may solve one big problem — how people were supposed to pay their rent and mortgages while work was closed — but it introduced a new one: Wait, so the government could’ve done this any time it wanted?"
On global reset
"If there is comfort to be found in the vague promises to use the pandemic as an opportunity to rethink society — the vows for a “Great Reset,” the pledges to “Build Back Better” — the comfort is immediately undone by the reality that those very vows have been hijacked by anti-science, anti-vaccine, anti-lockdown people to claim baseless conspiracy theories that go as far as suggesting the lockdowns are deliberately designed to speed up economic collapse."
On the Ukraine
"One thing we can deduce from the lack of action is that the plan, probably, was never to stop Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. President Joe Biden had long talked up his plan of targeted sanctions and diplomatic pressure. To put it another way, perhaps the US and NATO were going to let Ukraine fall and figure out what to do afterward."
This article is very telling because this is not some forum paper at WEF or discourse in Congress, this is a random buzzfeed news article most people didn't think twice about. 3 months later I'm here reading it, analyzing it and the conclusion is the one we always find....
NOTHING CAN STOP WHAT IS COMING
Nicely stated.
Well, I scanned that article and noticed a few things....
The writer starts off with a reference to a stage musical...I suppose to establish his bona fides as a cultured, sophisticated man about town, and of course author Elamin Abdelmahmoud ( a Sudanese Canadian writer) is an expert on American culture and politics.... yawn.
Then he launches into HIS oh-so-important personal story ("So for most of my life....") and inserts himself into the article. TMI, Elamin...TMI. Don't care.
Then he proceeds to do what all Libs do, proclaim his view on life is the "normal" view, while conservative views are somehow a dangerous aberration.
May I suggest that (for #3) the reverse is actually the case? For centuries, the conservative view has been the mainstay of American strength, and leftist views are the aberration.
So why pay any attention to this preening self-absorbed dandy, eh?
Great sentence!
Typical liberal drivel. They think that the old way of doing things is gone and to never be resurrected. They think the future is more video games and butt fucking, more free food, more climate crisis.
This fool is one of the 2% that is lost.
Trump never said that the people in power are corrupt ? This idiot filled an entire page showing he’s just dumb.
They still don't seem to understand that Trump is not an outlier. His views are the natural instinctive common sense of most Americans.
