You might like to correct that typo. It should be either "composed of" or "comprising".
"Was gonna go to that meeting but apparently they're already compromised."
fed bois fed bois, watcha gonna do
Just to be clear
It's not "comprising", either.
Greekish had it backward. He meant "comprised of"
The whole is COMPRISED OF individual parts; it doesn't comprise them. Instead, it's the reverse. They comprise the whole.

Don't Be Influenced by the Grammatically Defective Media
You're confusing "comprise" with "compose." "Comprise" is similar to "contain." You wouldn't say, "A carton is comprised of twelve eggs," so don't use "comprise" passively.
Thanks, but I'm not confusing comprise with compose.
"A dozen is comprised of 12 individual units." - correct use of passive voice
"Twelve eggs comprise a dozen." - correct use of active voice
No grammatical rule forbids the use of passive voice with the verb comprise.

Composed of or comprised of, not comprising ;)
The team doesn't comprise the players; the players comprise the team.
