He’s not wrong tho, we already learn Spanish here.
I've been disgusted for decades that NO politician, that I know of, tried to have a bill passed to make English the official language of the U.S.! (how could it not have been done a century ago?) And what is worse, is how virtually every American corporation caters to Spanish-speaking people. I think it would be awesome if a major U.S. corporation came out with an ad that said something like "We at ________ believe the United States is the greatest country the world has ever known, and as an English-speaking country, we believe that only English should be used for public communication by U.S. citizens. As such, ______ will only offer products and services through printed and spoken English." They might lose business from illegals and leftists, but would gain possibly more from patriots.
Just searched, and it recently was tried: https://www.congress.gov/bill/115th-congress/house-bill/997/text
Looked at this - the "actions" tab says - 'introduced into house' on 2/9/17 but then nothing. Is it still just sitting out there but on the bottom of a stack? Does it mean 'timed out due to inactivity'? or does it mean 'dead as long as Queen Nancy is in office'?
IIRC, Paul Ryan was speaker on that date. And, bills die at the end of each Congress - every two years.
