Still #1 after all this time? Someone should send the FBI a plaque.
accepts the reward "I would like to thank the establishment for ever letting this happen"
Well the BATF had a big hand in Waco too, so don't forget them.
In fact, a couple of BATF agents were shot when they tried to break out a window in the compound Must have really pissed off the powers that be.
22 children.
Under Bill Clintons watch.
I recall watching the coverage. The ATF was so wrong on every level. Started to have my eyes opened with this and Ruby Ridge.
The government has been out of control since at least 30 years.
I didn’t know how horrible this actually was when it happened. I was still a kid who thought our government was generally good and must have had their reasons.
Apparently the only "reason" they had was Thou Shalt Not Defy The Government. At the time, the leader of the sect, David Koresh, was frequently seen in the town of Waco, walked about freely, and could have been arrested at any time without incident. But wanting a big spectacle and high profile event, the feds surrounded the compound and laid siege to the place for a long time while the media took lots of photos and videos. The agents on scene were giving daily interviews with the media, basking in the spotlight of media attention.
After the ghastly end that they brought about, I don't recall that many agents had the stomach for interviews, and the finger pointing began. And I don't think DOJ head Janet Reno ever paid ANY consequences for her bungling of the operation.
DAMN.
It’s a damn shame McVeigh set his sights on some poor workers in a government building. Oh well. He was an operative anyway. So the government struck again.
Any more sauce on this? Besides wimpipedia bs
The record is clear on this event. No one disputes the details.
Most people do not know the real details. The fire was not started by tear gas. It was deliberately started with a tank mounted flame thrower, and the video (yes there is/was video of it) has been covered up for decades.
Yup, apparently the Deep Thinkers (this was back in the day of Janet Reno and her bull dyke reign of terror at DOJ) thought that a fire would force everyone inside the compound to flee. The Deep Thinkers did not realize that some had been killed by smoke inhalation, and they did not count on the firmly held religious convictions of those inside. This was a modern day Wounded Knee massacre, and all the evidence rational people need to not trust the government.... ESPECIALLY a Democrat-run government.
I used to always think they were the same, and to some level they ARE separate heads of the same beast...but, in the past couple years the separation of the PEOPLE couldn't be more obvious. Look at your average working-man family-man Red vs the average colored hair Blue (who would screech at me for even saying Man) and it's like day and night.
Hell, my distrust for the government had me leaning left if anything when I was growing up in the Bush Jr Era and there's many RINO today...but, it's certainly been a rude awakening for me in my few decades alive. Those I once would have sided with pushed me so far away I found myself on the opposite team. So, for that I thank them.
I have seen the video, and you are correct it was a flame throwing tank that intentionally starts the fire! And I know where that video is physically right now!
Thank u for this ,, I too never really researched the Waco massacre!
pretty sure the 46 kids is accurate
