I have thpught from the beginning that the Trump family was being threatened. I think what Ivanka said and did was to distance themselves from it all due to the threats.
I consider it coersion, not credible statements.
I think so too. They were after Don Jr.'s children which didn't help his marriage.
There was a time during his presidency where he mentioned that they had no idea the depths of the lies, undermining, harassment and attacks that would be foisted upon his family by the well-funded DNC. Attacks that no other president and first family EVER HAD TO ENDURE.
He said it had been especially hard on his daughter Ivanka. He said she went into this to help him and help our country and the poor missing and trafficked children, but the abuse she had to withstand was so malicious that it was nearly more than she could shoulder.
She may have separated herself for self-survival. But, I cannot imagine how much it hurt him to hear her rebut his statements and his insider knowledge.

Very true. Not necessarily defending her decision, but previously the Trump family had been treated like royalty among the liberal elites. So she has a thinner skin than Trump but honestly, who doesn't? It can be brutal to have your former friends turn on you, even if you're just an average person.

This is misleading. He's not saying that "she has long since checked out" (from the reality of the election fraud that occurred). He's saying that "she had long since checked out" (of the January 6th clown show presentation) and was just trying to maintain her decorum in the situation.
This was long overdue, but I’m glad he said it. Now if he will just say something about his son-in-law…
