It's funny to look back at the 80s. Music videos were so new and breaking edge, thanks to MTV, that everyone got on board. Most musicians were great at singing, but really had no idea what would make a good music video.
The early players in the video music production world also seemed so novice in their ideas. It was the wild west of just doing crazy stuff, hitting publish, and hoping for the best.

Same goes for Youtube. I miss the natural feel of videos before people started licking the corporate boot and using their real names.
