I used to live on Cape Cod. The Vineyard Gazette published this news from its board minutes and it’s gone viral. Prepare for lights out folks!

Exactamundo my fren. The term fossil fuels were coined by lobbyists to create the illusion of a finite resource.
Oil is like the natural grease byproduct of the Earth for a variety of geologic functions. It is not only self replenishing but far from being tapped out.
The Russians know. They call it the Russian-Ukrainian Theory of Deep Abiotic Petroleum Origin.
"Abiotic" means NOT from life.
Petroleum is created when calcium carbonate and iron oxide are pressed together under high pressure and high heat. It is the second-most abundant liquid naturally produced on Earth, other than water.
It is made within the Earth continually. That does not mean we won't use it faster than it can be produced, but it is continually produced.
Petroleum has been produced in a laboratory following this theory, proving the theory is true.

Is it the lubrication that the tectonic plates slide on? Is the earth actually a machine? Just an abstract thought.
Perhaps it is. The moon certainly looks like it is one. :)
"The Moon Rang Like a Bell" - NASA.
Interesting I’ll have to look into this
There is a book worth a peruse called “Who Built the Moon?” that sounds like it would be a Clown Show. But it’s not.
Years ago (separate from the book) the moon had a collision and NASA was watching and exclaimed that the Moon rang like a bell when it was hit. Hollow things ring. Not solid things.
The Moon’s location and size are a liiiiitle too “perfect” relative to the Earth’s size.
Do I think the Moon is hollow, fake, a robot, an observation tower…? The only thing I am sure of is that I do not know. But it’s fun to explore and think about.
EDIT: I just went back and read up a bit. Lots of theories on this, but one that sounds feasible is that the moon is solid, unlike the Earth (mantle + lava core), so the shock of having Apollo land on it caused "moonquakes" that reverbrated because there was no molten part of the core to absorb the shock. Sounds plausible. But, also, hollow things reverberate too.
This is true otherwise there is no way they could pump billions of drums of oil for decades from the same spot
Interesting. So deep water drilling may not be the result of low supply but rather meeting more demand? But then what about all of the oil fields that shut down in argentina? Supposed oil boom then bust.
The term fossil fuel was just another manipulation by the powerful at the time…think about how hemp was banned from society for paper use by the newspaper baron. I hear what you are saying about bust but those could also just be small pockets that are artifacts of deeper wells or something. Not saying this is 100% just saying if you removed possibly trillions of gallons over decades there’s no collapse or sinkholes in those areas? And demand has increased exponentially over the decades. I just don’t believe it’s finite as they are telling us. Think about gas at $2 a gallon even at $4 that’s really a steal if you think about what it takes. Getting a substances from under the ground and turning it into gas that can propel a 2000 pound vehicle at 80 miles per hour with ease. How much is a 16 oz bottle of water these days, some of which are simply filtered municipal tap water so people have been paying over $8 a gallon for bottled water for years and haven’t cried a bit. Oil is not scarce or gas would be $20 a gallon or more just supply and demand, rather it is $5 and climbing because our dick head resident has cut off all means of production.
Kind of makes sense pegging the dollar to petro, then creating oil scarcity or surplus to control value, similar to then diamond trade, how diamonds are artificially propped up in value from manipulated scarcity.
Russian scientists have been saying this for years. That's what made me do the research on my own into what crude oil is made of.
Prob some form of Fischer Tropsch processes taking carbon form rocks and h2o under very high heat and pressure and catalysts you’d get hydrocarbons
Ooo and extracting too much causes more earthquakes because the lubricant under the plates is removed.
And the oil helps the magnetosphere rotate freely, so extracting too much causes friction and eventual seizing of the internal rotation? We are supposed to believe the earths core is liquid magma that flows out of volcanoes occasionally , but what if volcanic eruptions are the byproduct of plates sheering together where oil used to lubricate?
Not sure but we could theorize maybe oil displacement? It’s a reach, but maybe instead volcanoes are the relief valve of the accumulation of oil replenishment?
The THEORY is that when you remove a dense substance, such as crude oil, from shale or other porous rocks, you weaken the structures. Thus, the ever present tectonic pressures, which were held in check by hydrodynamic forces (ie. crude in shale or other permeable rock), has to go somewhere. Thus, removing the crude (again, temporarily - as the earth will regenerate this) creates weak spots, which may result in tremors.
The caveat is that most of these tremors are located far below where the crude is located, which weakens that theory.
stop this nonsense, please. the earth is NOT a machine that needs lubrication
Yes but I was actually smiling reading the thread. Such fun nonsense.
