u/MAGAdeburger Thank you for your post. Very informative, tons of research. Refocused me. I never was comfortable thinking Pence was a black hat…..will now spend time scanning the horizon for shifting SOTUS on hearing election fraud cases.
Thanks, I appear to have missed this OP by you deburger. Don't have time to read right now, but judging from the title you may have answered the big question I have with this thread:
This letter is the same letter from Pence highlighted by Patel Patriot earlyish in the Devolution series.
Yes?

Yes same letter. Pence put out that letter on Jan 6th, 2021. He very clearly signaled that he wasn't going to do anything, e.g. "reject" the certificates from the disputed states, like some wanted him to do and believed he had that authority. The ECA rendered the VP purely ministerial. He wasn't incorrect about that... but my contention is that several aspects of the ECA are unconstitutional. More on that here:

Correct, he basically said "look, according to ECA, this ain't my job... you assholes do your job." Indeed, the "invasion" into the building itself started right as the first objection to a state certificate was levied. And yes, after everything got settled, all of the prescripted "WoRsT DaY iN hiStORy OmG PeArL HaRBoR!" speeches were made and the objections immediately rejected. Had the "break in" not disrupted the proceedings, would a legitimate, thorough objection process have been conducted? Doubtful. Would have all likely been the same bullshit as prior Dem challenges after Bush's election.
