Its already too late. No matter what moves they do make it will never work for them. There are too many awake now to stop what is coming. And there are more waking up daily. Tick tock....
Ironically, we all make money from that private industry so it's a horrible strategy unless they just want Americans further angry at CEO types. Nobody is going to just shift to hating all of private industry and most will do what the left trained them to do....hate on the 1% even more.
What a shit show the left creates every time they try something.
The unhinged person never explained her connection of oil corporations to the religious right. She’s using oil, too, so she’s just as complicit in enriching big oil as any religious person who purchases gasoline.
Big oil are no sweethearts so I don’t mind if they draw some ire. They don’t deserve as much blame and anger as the DNCCP and big pharma, but they’re not heroic Ayn Rand characters either. One privilege they have that regular people don’t is that their corporate security in dangerous parts of the world is provided by the US Navy. So they’re not 100% private industry anyway. If anger at big oil can spark an anti-corporate sentiment that spreads to big pharma and their vaxx quackery, it might be worth it.
You’re right that the DNCCP is getting desperate and looking to blame others, but at least they have to come up with more plausible targets for their excuses, such as big oil, now that they see that blaming Trump, white supremacy, and internet free speech are getting little traction.
I saw that video last night and immediately thought she looked like a raving liberal lunatic and not just some normie angry about gas prices. Then when she screamed about choosing between gas or food and needing gas to get to her job where she makes 321 times less than the CEO and then about the price of gas "and that's at Costco!" I thought, the poor or working poor or even retirees living off Social Security I know can't afford pricey Costco memberships, nor the cost of buying mega packs of fancy foods or toilet paper. So of course the punchline was that the religious right did this. How? The power of prayer?
I don't think it will work. They rushed things too much. Even the average dumbass, lazy American, who is generally not terribly smart, can see that the Dems are destroying our country.
That's not to say that 40% of the people won't still support the Dems. They will, because that's about the percentage of progressive communists in this country.
But the average swing voter, or blue-dog Dem can see what's happening.

Desperate, grasping at straws.
Its easier to float downstream than swim against the tide.

Sorry! I missed how she got to the religious right. Amen!
