Most veggies should be cooked to kill bad organisms and to make food easier to digest.
Fat makes you feel full. Fat also adds tremendous flavor to foods. But since fat, which in its natural form is an essential nutrient (not these vegetable oils that are an unnatural, factory made form of fat) is demonized, many Americans substitute will sugar for fat to make up for the lack of flavor.
I eat a protein limited diet. Most of the foods I make are foods with a lot of veggies and a little meat or fish, like casseroles and stir Frys. Here is a picture of me. You tell me if you think I'm fat: https://gwsandiego.net/blog/.
Kidneys do not like protein. Just as the low fat/high carb craze of the 90s caused a massive diabetes epidemic in the aughts, so the current high protein craze will cause a kidney disease epidemic in the next decade. Mark my words.
