The term Marriage is a Christian concept. The Civil Unions never raised an eyebrow, but that was not good enough. They claim to want separation between Church and State, but the term Marriage is biblical and contained within most religious texts throughout the world, or at least the concept is. A simple change in terminology would've circumvented the issue entirely. As far as consenting adults in the privacy of their own homes, I honestly don't care at all. Legislating morality is a slippery slope on both sides of the fence, it simply should not be done AMONG CONSENTING ADULTS. I said it twice to drive the point home. We get to throw rocks at paedophiles until they are dead.
