It's tough to believe an explanation is necessary. But just to be explicitly clear about it: I'm explaining, right now, being totally serious and not humorous, that I was LAMPOONING California for being so often on the side of Satan.

Like when people say "Yaaaayyy, it's raining, our beach plans are ruined." They aren't ACTUALLY cheering. They're ticked. Same deal here. Except! I'm not ticked at the weather, but at California for coming down on the side of Satan.
