Yesterday i met my 10 yr milestone. So if you or someone you know or love is struggling with addiction I just want you to know the recovery is possible and I am living proof.
I just ordered one today. Just make sure it is organic. Fenben is a drug - an antiparasitic. The key with this protocol is to attack the fungal infection. Antiparasitics do that to a lesser extent. What surprised me with this protocol is the amount of NAC - but it makes total sense. I am going to try it, but I am sure the die off is going to fun for a few days. We shall see. But, I would follow the protocol exactly like it is. Nothing substituted with kind of, sort of stuff.

I grow a lot of herbs and the oregano oil and black seed oil was recommended by a lot of people for covid too. I harvest the nigella seeds and use oregano in a lot of my cooking. I was thinking the last few days what is missing from western human diets that would benefit everybody - I think some of these herbs are it. I use herbal remedies now for most things.
The key to many of the herbals used for medicinal purposes is that they are extracts. Using herbs as foods is great for health maintenance. But when we need some extra help, the concentration of the active ingredients found in extracts takes those beautiful plants to a whole new level. Mac, I took fenben as a precautionary measure on and off. Then I got delta and took some apple flavored medicine. Now, about 6 months later, I am having gastrointestinal/IBS issues. Discomfort and aches under the left rib/colon area. I’m assuming I messed up my gut flora. I will be doing this anti fungal protocol. Is there anything else you recommend I take or do going forward? Thank you!
Gut issues are always such a sticky wick since there could be many underlying causes. The gut is connected to everything, and everything is connected to the gut. I am not a big fan of taking pharmaceuticals unless it is to treat something specific that cannot be dealt with another way. The only time I have pointed someone to FenBen is when there was questions of cancer being involved. We have to be careful we are not being driven by the same fear porn that has caused others to get jabbed. Don't throw your common sense out the window.
Follow your instincts. If you think you upset the balance of gut flora, I would start there. Everyone has a little doctor inside them that the Almighty put there for our protection. I have always told my patients that if what the person in the lab coat is telling you doesn't line up with what your own little doctor is telling you instinctively, then something is not adding up - keep looking and don't discount your own instincts. If people did not lay this aside so easily, we would all be better off.
Treating gut problems is also slow in unwinding - which is much the same way they manifest. You have to peel back the onion somewhat to figure out what contributed to your current situation so you can adjust your plan. If you are doing something that contributed to the problem, then continuing to do the same thing is not going to improve your situation despite other measures you take.
Probiotics are not all the same and sometimes you have to look for a manufacturer and blend that agrees with you. My experience has been, what works for one person may not work for someone else. Many of my patients with gut issues also did well by supplementing Vit A. I used palmitate. Sometimes the lining of the gut can get hammered and the vitamin A is good for healing the epithelial lining. It also helps with the lungs. Believe it or not, old fashioned Cod Liver Oil is good for what ails you. Just make sure it is cold processed, Northern Atlantic, non hexane. Carlson and Nordic have always been good brands and have had a good track record. However, I have not looked into them lately - but I doubt much has changed. Keep it in the fridge.
Look into herbs and such that calm the gut. Marshmallow root, ginger, chamomile, and sage. Slippery elm and licorice root are good also as a source of probiotics. Caution with licorice - find a deglycerized licorice. The active compound in the licorice that makes it sweet can have some nasty side effects for some - especially raising blood pressure.
Do some research on Triphala and see if that may be something that resonates with you. Clean up the diet and eliminate as much sugar and processed foods as possible. Cook your own foods if you can so you can control ingredients. Incorporate good organic spices like turmeric and ginger. I have actually rediscovered cooking the last couple of years - one of the good things for me that has come out of the coof along with just slowing down and jettisoning a lot of the unprofitable busyness out of my life.
I like Traditional Medicinal teas to drink throughout the day. They have a couple of blends made for gut health. They seem to help me. I like Belly Comfort and Ginger Aid. I also drink Fennel tea every day as well as other medicinal herbs like turmeric. I focus on things for my gut and inflammation. I use a coffee maker and put the tea bags in the carafe. I then put the tea in a thermos and drink throughout the day.
Be careful starting a fungal detox program if you are having some serious gut discomfort. This program is going to upset your digestive tract. So, make sure the timing for you is good or whether you may want to do some other things first. Good luck. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the tip! That's probably a whole new rabbit hole to go down; turning existing kitchen items into extraction machines. My main preservation methods are drying, freezing, and turning greens into a pesto type mix. I have not really needed to take excess anything; especially some herbal remedies which can be bad for you if you take too much.
