Why not? In today's world of unrestricted cell phone use, that's kind of the natural evolution.
It's sad and I am actually coming around to believing that parents should respect privacy, but not that kind of privacy. I see nothing wrong with snooping to make sure they're not on FUCKING TINDER but maybe that's just me.
When my kids were in high school, they had cell phones but I was able to use Verizon parental controls to make it such that they were unable to install apps. If they wanted an app, I had to install it for them using my password.
We also didn't allow computers or TVs in their bedrooms. All laptops were to be used in a common area of the house. I got a lot of pushback but it worked.
They did have privacy for texting and phone calls.
Highly responsible of you. That is great parenting.
I have a friend- his child uses TikTok and is a total piece of shit. Just ruined mentally from the garbage that is being pumped into the heads of these children. Sad to see, but it is definitely being used to ruin children.
Ever wonder where we would be without internet or social media? I bet the world would be a MUCH better place. All of this narcissism is getting pretty disgusting.
Right on. Our 11 month old doesn’t get any screen time (tv or anything else) and we’re keeping it that way as long as possible. Mom and dad didn’t get cell phones til they were 15-16 in drivers education
It’s not just narcissism, it’s literally re-mapping kids’ brains to use a cell phone that much. Read about neuroplasticity. People are completely reliant on the cell phone, social media, and the internet. If you start a child on a cell phone or device at a young age it’s even worse.
so a kid has tinder on their phone?
Apparently
