it's a real thing. I know a couple of people who were living ambitious productive lives, everything going well, no history of depression or anything, got sick, and it was like hitting a brick wall. no solutions from multiple doctors and specialists.
'long covid' closely matches other post-viral syndromes. my ex's sister got on disability -- one sixth of what she was earning. hardly a desirable situation.
I was still getting short of breath out of nowhere 2 months after having Covid. I initially beat my Covid in 3 days with ivermectin but that shortness of breath sucked.
Lmao the first time was during putting up a tent, every time after that was normally when I was just sitting around. It seems to be getting a lot better now, all I’ve really done was continue to take ivermectin and aspirin.
My neighbor’s daughter is a chef. Got Covid early on but is young and healthy so recovered quickly, but lost her sense of smell and it has not come back.
Covid is treatable but still a nasty bug.
I had horrible exhaustion for months afterwards. Reactivated old mono. IncellDx and Dr Bruce Patterson came up with a blood test for almost 20 markers for long Covid and tailors a med regimen for patients. Some people were prescribed HIV anti virals which finally allowed them to get out of bed for the first time in a year. Others get ivermectin every three days, baby aspirin, a statin (for inflammation) and allergy meds for snell/taste. It’s real and it’s too bad we make fun of it. Even pure bloods can get a bad case. Just depends.
post-vax?
No it was before Covid. Not Lyme but similar.
You must have a small social circle if you know nobody suffering from after effects of [untreated] Covid, vaccine injury, or post-viral syndromes.
Of course fear mongering is real. Both things can be true.
yes, exactly. you advertise your ignorance by labeling long covid as flu.
I have a bit of it though I’ve done virtually everything I can. Seems to be working. Just started a new thing where I make a smoothie with a god damn bushel of cilantro stems and leaves. Not the greatest tasting thing but damn it makes me feel good
Ivermectin every three days for 6 weeks may help in clearing the last of it.
Some people’s immune systems reactivate the infection as the macrophages eat/scavenge/dispose of the last viral artifacts of the infection. That’s the theory anyway.
I think the compound in leafy greens is oxilates? I think that’s the scientific reason why it helps.
