I don’t know man, I can only really speak for my experience.
I personally know of 2 people who have had bad experiences, and both of these were after several enlightening ones.
My theory at the time was that maybe they had outstayed their welcome in the DMT world, or maybe their behaviour or intentions there had been, in some way, disrespectful or unwanted.
Don’t get me wrong, I can definitely see how some people could be frightened, even by the experiences I had, if they were not accustomed to the idea of alternate dimensions, astral travel or ego-death.
From all that I've read over time about DMT, it just screams evil to me. "Benevolent" machine elves? Hyper reality? It's one thing to say that there might be unseen parts to reality, but it's a whole another thing to place trust in spirits or guides that come at your most mentally vunerable point, or to reject wholly your own experienced reality for that of your confused state.
Meh. Not evil. Been there done that got the T-shirt. Being keenly aware that none of this shit here is real, however, is more perplexing and terrifying than it is useful....
Imagine taking a drug which isn't actually a drug but instead hacks your brain into perceiving higher dimensions, allowing you to see shit that is clearly not possible in three dimensions, colors that don't exist, seeing in such spectacularly crazy high definition that it's more detailed than real life, and more than that KNOWING WHAT ALL OF IT IS, being weirdly FAMILIAR with everything you're experiencing, instinctively making use of telepathic communications, being knocked back into your body saying to yourself "holy shit what was that? That was real!!!" Doing it over and over again to explore this crazy shit more and more, learning how to meditate yourself into this hyper-real state without the use of the firestarter which is purchased DMT.... Yes. Very confusing and not particularly relevant to our experience other than, stop worrying about fucking dying. You were never born. You and your infinite fucking existence in fact has very little to do with the fragile short-lived meatbag you currently occupy for the next 60 years or so....
that makes sense to me, it definitely make things "wavy" especially if it isn't a "breakthru" dose. Get yourself a spread of 1x, 5x, 10x or 20x ... Start small and expect a short duration, but definitely be prepared for total disassociation if going for a breakthru dose... And I'm referring to "waking up" after coming back, not knowing where you are, bringing parts of the trip back with you... give it a few minutes and your brain will "readjust"
The spirit molecule. It’s produced when you sleep, it’s what makes you dream. It’s theorized that it can help your direct consciousness reach higher levels
DMT changed my life and is easily the best thing I’ve ever done.
Probably not for everyone, though.
You have to be open to the experience. You need to be in a positive state of mind, relaxed, in a good environment.
If you are super stressed, negative, angry, you will have a horrible time.
Intention matters when dorking around with DMT.
