The only moonfagging I do is for GME 🚀

I am fascinated with the moon and its phases. The moon is a timepiece, and there is good evidence that the moon was used for this purpose 25,000 - 35,000 years ago - depicted in ancient cave paintings and drawings.

This evidence also depicted the seasonal changing of flora and fauna. Flora and fauna changed, of course, from place to place, and great distances were traveled in search of food. Something was needed to help tell time.

Ancient cultures worldwide have named full moons based on the behavior of plants, animals, or weather during that month. It all served a purpose, and let us continue to recognize and appreciate what the moon tells us. One never knows when it's original purpose will be needed again.

I remember the 'new moon' and 'full moon.' That was it.

People who are not used to seeing the moon because they spend their lives indoor on their TV's and phones instead of outside, panic every time someone tells them the moon isn't white.

OMG the moon is red! It's an omen of ill portent!
