I’m glad you found that. That’s one of my favorite TV series. Downton Abbey is historically informative and very entertaining. The movies are going but not as good as the series. I’ve watched several BBC historical dramas that aired on PBS. Poldark is very good. It’s based on a popular novel series written in the 1940s & 1950s. There’s been many series over the decades. I’ve only watched the latest one first aired in 2015.

Just ordered the complete dvd set of Poldark from ebay after reading the summary from wikipedia as well as the critical reception. Thanks, Fren! 🙏🏻

Your welcome. Check out Peaky Blinders. A movie is coming out in a year or two. The last season just aired a few months ago. It’s based on the real Peaky Blinders but they made the series in a different time period. They were one of the first gangs in UK. I love British series better than American. Seems like they have more grit.
