I bought the KJV, and found it incredibly difficult to read, and very slow going. I basically gave up. It’s not very accessible to a first time reader.
I bought a NKJV and I am finding it much easier.
Once I’ve gone through this I’ll go back to the KJV - hoping it will be easier
I'm really surprised when people say this because I learned out of this Bible. Maybe hearing someone reading it will give you a different perspective on it.
The words hit differently when it's spoken to you, and especially when it's in a church with ceilings built with the acoustics in mind.
