Has anybody heard anything about the owner of HEB sponsoring a DragQueen show for kids. Heard it as a rumor but haven’t found anything on it ???

Unreal. Now I gotta grocery shop somewhere else forevermore....
i just called heb, and they were so rude. They claimed they were not a sponsor. There are now several websites that list them as sponsors, so I called back. This time someone was much nicer. I told them we were not going to support any business that engages in this kind of child abuse. She said it was the first she was hearing of this, and she would call corporate. I live in a much more rural area than Austin, so I don't think even most of the staff would be ok with this.

I went to their own website, HEB Newsroom. There is a calendar of events. For June, HEB had 9 pride events. Pretty much all geared toward children. There were festivals, rodeo's, a zoo event. All for pride. Then, I looked at May to see if they celebrated Memorial day. There was one day with an event honoring the spouses of veterans, but not one single veteran event. The day after the spouse event they had an event honoring ramadan.
I have called HEB again this morning. I know corporate won't care, but the local store needs to comment on this. I am sick of people getting a pass when they should be speaking up. They listened to me in the Ad Min. office, and asked me to call back at 9:30 to speak to a leader.
If they don't do anything, I am going to go to nextdoor and put them on blast. Normal people can now see this isn't about gay and lesbian. They are coming after our kids. We will stop them.

Good thing I don't go to HEB. support farmers markets careful some big box stores go there pretending to be farmers
