My argument against that theory is “why fall down the stairs then”? If they removed her from harms way, they could have just quietly let her be, she wasn’t on anyones mind. If they were doing “witness protection type identity removal” why blunt force trauma. Why not “dies suddenly with stroke” or some other way to die. Her cause of death was blunt force trauma.
Because the DS will think that it was one of their people that did it but no one will admit it (because they didn't do it) and they'll continue to panic. Is she really dead, or in witness protection, nobody knows?
