I would almost guarantee this is the outcome. DA is likely in on the cover-up. Hunter is a liability. Have him plea down, he gets years in jail and "justice is served" without much of anything being investigated or brought to light
It’s sad that we can predict but not avoid a predicable crappy outcome. I blame the propaganda press for not pursuing and therefore letting the kabuki play out.
