What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
I have always thought those who got their news from the paper or radio tended to think about what they were "ingesting" more.. Another observation that supports your theory: I have known many "thinkers" who might have the tv news on behind them as they did other routine work. Most such people will turn to look when something off kilter is uttered.. But they are generally less apt to believe than those who st facing the TV...
Concur!
Theory of mine: the Great Toilet Paper Rush of early 2020 was precipitated by subliminal messages on the tube. There's simply no other explanation. Sudden urges to load up on something that had never been an issue before, versus the usual milk and bread hoarding before storms, where no supply impact had been reported.
My only observation was that people I knew who had cut the cord or simply didn't watch TV had no urge and did not understand it either. When I would ask people in line why they were buying all that TP, they had no coherent answer and got very uncomfortable with the questions.
In Pennsylvania the hoarding of bread, milk, and toilet paper before a storm happens a lot.
Good to know. I grew up in hurricane central and now living in an occasional snowstorm-panic area, neither population had ever included TP in hoarding mode. The other part of the observation was that people were seriously hoarding TP - and NOT milk and bread.
That came later, maybe over they were out of the fog a little. Only after that came the predictable stuff, soup cans and frozen meals, we laughed because no one touched the canned, frozen or fresh veggies.
