He did mention that. But as a starting point this is effective. He bought it as a "game" but found it practical to start me off. Believe me I know zip, zero, nothing about firearms so there is much to learn. We have come to a point in our society that it seems important to have this knowledge and even to carry. He has a carry permit but leaves it in his car and I have encourged him to carry at all times. Times have changed...and not for the better.
