But what would be the protocol for this? Who makes that kind of call? How in the military says "okay that's it, I am now in charge." As far as I know there is no mechanism for how this occurs. We've seen military takeovers throughout history, even recently in Myanmar. But in the USA I don't know how that would play out.

The answer is Devolution. President Trump devolved his executive authority to the military, and has left classified PEADs and EOs that document this transfer of authority and the wartime conditions that make it legal (as any foreign entity interfering with our elections constitutes an act of war, Trump himself made this a thing after taking office).

I respectfully disagree. D J Trump was groomed for this moment from the beginning by an act of God. I truly believe the Q movement began with the assassination of JFK and since the election and installment of President Trump we have been watching one hell of a psyops play out between the black hats and white hats, lies and truth, disinformation and reality to the point it's nearly impossible to track every event, every player and determine whether we are watching a movie or reality.
