For anyone this may help, my husband came off of Adderall. The first time he tried it was unsuccessful and a mess. The second time he did a combination of things: 1.) he had a chunk of time off of work (because he had injured his hand, so he used the time to go through the process) 2.) He had cleaned up his diet- just eating better quality foods. 3.) By that point he had dealt with the metal and spiritual issues he had (root causes) from his childhood (well not all of them, but a good chunk) 4.) He had gone to a naturopath and had some helpful supplements to assist his body. I believe they were citrus bioflavanoids. Edit: He had been put on Ritalin as a preteen, taken off as an older teen, then was prescribed adderall as an adult... then we started researching it.
