My wife and I are celebrating Saint Anne today.
I definitely am feeling not only better, but actually well : I beat that Fauci-flu in less than 3 days.
Still I wonder what happened: I heard I was not supposed to get it from someone who already was past the symptoms… unless it was my mother in law who had spent the week with Anne and was not yet symptomatic who passed it to me in just 30 minutes with no contact?
Cooking tip of the day:
Mix the following:
Let it rest in the fridge for 2 hours before serving with vegetable bits.
That’s my improvised carrot hummus. I wish I had an organic orange so I could put some of its peel in the mix. Smells and tastes good.
The Covid is just the flu. Some get it worse than others
Thank you P. That sounds awesome! I love me some hummus!!
I will tell you about the rosmarin/lavander/fig flavored hummus i plan to cook on Saturday.😋
Herbs and figs are fresh from our garden.
My grandmother used to have a fig tree that I picked fresh figs from. Nice memories... I wish more people here in the States could learn to appreciate some of the wonderful things from "the old country" (European heritage).
Woah that sounds really interesting and I definitely am interested in how it tastes! I’ve never cooked with lavender before.
Whatever tastes good with garlic and rosmarin will also taste good with lavender: egplant, BBQ’ed pork, zucchini…
Yummy! I wanna come by for lunch 😉
I have a baby fig tree I bought 2 years ago. Its been in a pot. Im afraid to put it out in the yard here in Oklahoma. I know nothing about fig trees but its alive and I Love Figs 😍
I call BS on this. Its common sense to think that while the body is still fighting and has symptoms like runny nose and sneezing, is when we would be passing it around
Get it from someone who was already past symptoms. Do you believe you can "catch COVID"?
