I started taking 24 mg per day of IVM about a week ago to combat a flare up of whatever this cold bug / flu is that keeps popping up for me about every 3 months. That's a whole other story too....
Well, This time around, I have started having some pretty bad dizzy spells.
Since I learned nothing from my experience so far, I again donned my Doctor's coat and looked up IVM side effects online.
Sure enough, Dizziness / balance problems are a significant potential side effect per this link;

Is there anything at all I can do - other than immediately stop taking any further Ivermectin of course - to counteract the dizziness?
Is there anything I can take to neutralize the IVM in my system?
This morning I took some activated charcoal capsules that are pretty good at soaking up some bad stuff in your system, but I know there's only so much that can do since I've been taking IVM for a week, so it's fully in my system....
Ugh this is awful. 🤦🏻♂️😵😵😩🥺🥺
If anyone has any ideas, please help.
I am also going to go to my doctor - my real doctor - to see if there's anything they can do to help.
How long is IVM's half-life? Hopefully it will dissipate soon...???

UPDATE / ETA: Called advice nurse; guy I spoke with was polite & pretty thorough. At one point he stated "IVM is usually only used to treat parasites, lice, etc in humans". About 5 min later he said; "yeah and you know, IVM is not authorized / recommended for use in humans."
I said; "wait; I thought you said it was used to treat parasites in humans."
"Oh yes; I take back my statement; yes, IVM is used to treat parasites & lice in humans."
😐😐😐🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ He recommended I go to the ER, but I'm feeling OK: I will see & hang on for a bit. I'm feeling better; if my symptoms at ALL get worse, I'm going to the E.R.....

IVM worked its way out of my system, any & all dizziness / wooziness / lightheaded is GONE, along with any & all traces of whatever's this damn cold / flu bug that keeps attacking me every ~3 months like clockwork since this damn pandemic.... and that is a whole other doctor's visit & thread.....

Well that's the best fun of all this; I've been unable to find a damn clear, english, plain & simple chart of how fcking much IVM to take. It's all like "0.2 mg per kg" and other gibberish, and I've found charts that contradict the 0.2 mg per kg recommendation which seems the most common.
Based on my shitty math, I'm 185 lbs, which is roughly 84 kg, multiply that by 0.2, gives me 16.6 mg IVM.
So....Yeah I guess I overdid it a bit.....🤦🏻♂️😵😵

Also there’s no reason to take it daily unless you’re treating actual symptoms. If you’re taking it as a preventive measure then once a week or even once a month is probably sufficient. As another user said, taking zinc, D, and Quercetin is really the only thing you needs to take daily.
