Ran into an old friend I haven’t seen in 10-15 years. I knew he had a son in the military and asked how he was doing and where he was at. He said his son is doing good and that he’s stationed in Cuba 😳.

…said his son is doing good and that he’s stationed in Cuba 😳. Trying to hide my giddiness I say “ Guantánamo” he says “yes”. I say “I hear they are expanding down there” he says “there’s a lot going on down there,” with a grin. He told me when he try’s to talk to his son about it, he just says “I can’t talk about it Dad, you’ll just have to wait until we can”. I know it’s not much, but I have survived on a lot less hopium than this! NCSWIC
