As this global trend towards de-dollarization continues, China is taking the lead by dumping U.S treasuries.

The China Banking Regulatory Commission responded by working with the construction sector and the Communist Party's central bank to support local governments in their efforts to "ensure the delivery of buildings, people's livelihood, and stability". On the same day, more than ten banks, including six major banks, a number of joint-stock banks, and city merchant banks issued announcements, all saying that the risk of unfinished buildings was "controllable." This has become a hot search online in mainland China. Chinese people are wondering: What mistake the printer of Renminbi has made?
According to an overseas tweet, "The trillions of counterfeit bills in the Chinese market are authentic, printed by the China Banknote Printing Corporation. Everything is real, including serial numbers.“
If the Chinese Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation had actually printed duplicate bills, I wonder if such news would scare the money printing clients? However, based on the CCP's habit of covering up real information, we don't expect to get a definitive answer to the question of whether there are duplicate authentic bills in China.

Why are there so many tofu-dreg projects in China? According to an article published in the Daily Economic News of mainland China, the author claims that he used to work in a construction administration department for years. Thus he knows some of the "dark secrets" involved in the construction industry. The construction money has to pay for materials, labor and management fees, etc.
Due to the fierce competition in the market, the profit from a construction project is tiny, and even if the entire construction fund is used for the construction, the profit is usually less than 10%. If "one-third of the project money is used for bribes", the only way to still make a profit is to cut corners on a large scale, or purchase inferior materials, or default on labor costs.
This is only one of the reasons for the proliferation of tofu-dreg projects in China.
